Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It was a history made in the Delaware Valley of the United States. The day, March the 12th 2016, a new Tamil Group was formed in the Brandywine Congregation. When we are seeing the rich blessings of Jehovah in front of our eyes we are really want to give all the credit to Jehovah God the Almighty ( Isa 26:12 ).

The chairman Br Byron Vance opened the meeting with a prayer and he did his chairmanship in the Tamil language. It was a thrilling moment to see the brothers and sisters sing the Song #107 in Tamil in Brandywine Congregation made some of the brothers to become emotional to see the hand of Jehovah. The excellent public talk was given by Br Malan Francis “Come! You who thirst for the truth” followed by the Watchtower Study “Be compelled by God’s Indescribable free gift”. The peak attendance was 173 and the brothers and sisters were so joyful and were talking talking and talking in the Kingdom Hall at 927 Wilson Rd, Wilmington DE 19803.

The generous spirit of the Brandywine brothers in accommodating the Canadian and the other other State brothers are commendable for their hospitality. On the other hand the sacrificial spirit of the brothers from Canada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina was so great. Two single sisters traveled from South Carolina by train.

The obstacles faced by the Canadian brothers right from the cancellation of the reserved mini bus, last minute negotiations with the rental companies, temporary loss of passport of one of the drivers, crossing the border. Words cannot express for the support they gave. It is all for Jehovah the brothers willingly came to Brandywine. 2 kids also traveled with them.

Br Venkat’s flu attack right on time just one day before the inaugural meeting did not stop him from attending the meeting along with his wife with Jehovah’s strength.

After the meeting the brothers and sisters gathered together in FairHill MD for a party. The sisters had prepared all the food and the place was rented by the strenuous effort of a brother and a sister because some of the places wont allow bringing our own food and the halls were not available for March the 12th.They had variety of food. And a brother who is a chef in the restaurant helped a great deal.

All the Tamil students sang the song #120 in Tamil. And for fun 2 sound tracks. It was so thrilling for the brothers to see the Americans singing Tamils songs. With Jehovah anything is possible. He came make the stone speak. The brothers and sisters had a great time dancing. And also they saw a brief skit done by the New Jersey and the South Carolina brothers.

The next day Sunday brothers discussed the daily text about the anointed ones based on Romans 8th chapter and the Canadian brothers shared their adventurous “Red Sea” experience. Really it was thrilling and heart warming to see Jehovah’s hand in each and every move. But when Jehovah wants to do something, no matter what he will do that. This was a great proof for that.

One of the sisters commented like “The Tamil group has brought a new energy to the Brandywine Congregation”. Of course all praise and glory goes to Jehovah and Jesus and we don’t want to take any credit. May Jehovah God bless this group and help us!!!
